Google researchers have developed 'VLOGGER', an AI system that generates realistic talking head videos from a single image, using advanced diffusion models, enabling new applications while raising concerns about deepfakes.

The technology, called VLOGGER, relies on advanced machine learning models to synthesize startlingly realistic footage, opening up a range of potential applications while also raising concerns around deepfakes and misinformation.
