GTA: San Andreas VR has been delayed indefinitely

Meta announced Rockstar's classic title was coming to VR three years ago

In 2021 at Facebook Connect, Mark Zuckerberg proudly revealed that a VR remake of GTA: San Andreas was in development for Meta Quest 2. The official Meta Quest VR YouTube account also responded to users saying, “GTA: San Andreas is on hold indefinitely while we both focus on other projects. Meta said Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was “a project many years in the marking” in a blog post highlighting the games presented at the 2021 Facebook Connect event.
