According to Mark Gurman’s latest Power On newsletter, Apple has no ‘meaningful’ plans to refresh AirPods Max after the introduction of the USB-C model earlier this year. If you’ve ever been to an upscale gym in Los Angeles or New York, you can see these $550 headphones have a market — even with the high price and outdated technology. Gurman believes that Apple will keep AirPods Max around in their current form for the “foreseeable future”, so it might be a couple years before we see a truly updated model.
