Hadrius (YC W23) is hiring engineers looking to grow into future founders

This is a full-time role as a Founding Engineer, located onsite in New York, NY.  As a Founding Engineer at Hadrius, you will own the software protecting our financial markets. From leading AI development efforts automating workflows for billions in AUM to building the pipelines streaming millions of data points, or iterating the interface used by employees at some of the biggest firms in the world. The work can change day to day and week to week, but will always involve hard technical challenges from frontend to AI to data. You will work directly with the founding team to design and build the future of the financial system from the ground floor of a hyper growth startup. As we grow, there are plenty of opportunities for leadership and we pride ourselves on having a hands off culture by having very few meetings while giving engineers a broad scope of responsibility. Work alongside an elite team of engineers from Google, Chime, Microsoft, Zynga, Ivy league universities, and founders with previous exits. You'll be on a team that works incredibly hard and seeks other exceptional people excited to do the same. Responsibilities First week:  Day 1: push your first PR to production Understand the core problems Hadrius solves, our ICP, our value proposition, the Hadrius platform, pricing structure, and roadmap Learn the Hadrius way: how we work and build for hyper growth Get up to speed on the codebase Contribute to product discussions in weekly all hands First month:  Implement a big feature that directly leads to new revenue for the business Standing out on the team in sheer contribution Build for more new revenue streams, respond to existing customer feedback and requests, becoming a master of your domain. First 3 months & beyond:  Continuing to develop the above skillset, paying special attention to scaling challenges and stability as we bring on more and more clients. Mentoring new team members and supporting them towards a successful trajectory. About You Exceptionally skilled: You are highly competent as an engineer, coming from 1,000s of hours of practice. Coachable: Open to learning the Hadrius way and raising the bar while you’re at it. Grit: You’re consistently the hardest working person on your team. All-in: This is not a 9-5. Autonomy: Exercise a high-degree of autonomy and technical authority Qualifications 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer Clear communicator with a penchant for solving problems Comfortable building across the stack (Django/Flask/FastAPI/React/AWS) Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field Nice to haves Experience scaling Postgres to 100M - 1B+ rows Experience working with fine tuned LLMs in production Experience working in a mature React codebase in production Experience working in a mature Django/Python codebase in production Benefits 401k (100% match up to 6%) Destination Airbnb company work retreats 3-5 times a year Healthcare, dental, vision, etc.
