Marty O'Donnell, the former Bungie composer best known for his Halo and Destiny soundtracks, has announced his intention to run for US Congress as a Republican candidate. In a lengthy post on social media platform X, O'Donnell said he “I "never wanted to be a politician and I still don't" but felt he needed to "step up" after seeing "the leaders of our country being influenced by the toxic divisions that are tearing apart our families and society".
