Hannaford cancels online orders amid ongoing network issue
Most locations are accepting credit cards again, but the supermarket chain's website and online ordering service were still down Saturday afternoon.
Hannaford’s Dutch parent company, Ahold Delhaize, said in a statement that its United States division detected a “cybersecurity issue within its U.S. network” and took some systems offline to protect them. Its portfolio includes supermarket chains Stop & Shop, Food Lion and Giant, all of which appeared to had working websites Friday and Saturday.
