“Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code,” Mozilla researchers said. Another notable flaw is CVE-2024-24697, an untrusted-search-path issue in some Zoom 32 bit Windows clients that could allow an authenticated user with local access to escalate their privileges. The flaw in FortiSIEM Supervisor could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute unauthorized commands via crafted API requests, Fortinet said in an advisory.
