Hollow Knight: Silksong developers are trolling players with a seemingly safe haven
Silksong, an already very tricky game, also has a trap disguised as a seemingly safe place that will take a chunk of your health.
Thankfully, developer Team Cherry has popped a number of benches throughout Silksong, where the game's protagonist Hornet (and the player), can take some weight off and recover from the perils that have come before, before heading once more out into the fray. You see, many players have come to realise that Team Cherry has in fact planted at least one trick bench in the depths of Silksong, that doesn't really play fair ( please read no further if you do not want to know where). Except this trick bench will scupper that breather, and when Hornet sits on it she will activate a spike trap that will whop a load of health off.
