It was quickly adapted to support wartime needs: issuing digital documents for internally displaced persons (IDPs), facilitating donations, distributing war bonds and allowing citizens to report enemy troop movements. Ukraine’s data was also rapidly migrated to cloud infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, safeguarding sensitive state information from physical destruction or seizure.
