That got me wondering how bad link rot actually is on this site as lately I’ve been looking for specific things in my own archive and failed to successfully click through some references that would have come in handy. I have been moving and restructuring things and as you can see not properly adhering to the concept of permalinks, neither providing an alias resulting in a 3xx code: there are all classic 404s. That quick count immediately shows a painful truth: most of the rotten links are pointing to dead ends of personal websites.
