How I used Conky to make my Linux desktop cooler - in minutes
If you'd like to have a Linux desktop with a bit more info and panache, consider installing Conky.
My customized Conky widget lives on the bottom left corner of my display. Look for the right-pointing arrow (looks like a "play" button from a music app) on the left side of the toolbar. Click on the small green icon (it looks like a computer monitor) to open the Edit Widget window.
