How Nuclear Tech Could Revolutionise Plastic Recycling

Used in everything from water bottles to medical devices to building materials to clothes; plastic is a given in our daily lives.

Research indicates that approximately 80 per cent of marine plastic pollution originates on land (with the rest coming from ocean sources such as fishing nets etc.) That belief led me to focus on plastic upcycling and the search for alternatives to petroleum-based materials — areas where innovation can directly address the environmental crises we face today. This work is more than research — it's a commitment to building a circular economy that safeguards our ecosystems, reduces human carbon footprint, and leaves a healthier, more resilient planet for future generations.
