Google promises improved CPU and TPU (for AI) performance there, though it’s had something of a spotty track record with custom-made silicon in the past, so we’ll have to put the chip through its paces to see how well it holds up against Qualcomm’s better Snapdragon SoCs. The watch is still packed with a range of health-tracking tools, many of which are available in a redesigned Fitbit app, and Google touts that you can simply raise your wrist to chat with its Gemini AI assistant. Compared to the older Pixel Buds A-Series, they now come with active noise cancellation, an improved IP54 water-resistance rating and a more compact shape that ditches the larger stabilizing fins.
