How to switch on Android’s Private DNS mode and why you should


Secure your web browsing in just a couple of easy steps.

Public WiFi networks are a normal part of life, but that doesn't mean we need to accept privacy violations, too. By default, DNS queries aren't encrypted, so someone using the same network as you could theoretically figure out how to see what you're doing online. In order to re-enable private DNS if it gets turned off, you'll have to search for the app by name in the Play Store and open it from there.
