How to use Gemini in Google Messages
You can chat with Gemini in Google Messages as if it were anyone else.

It can help you figure out what to make for dinner, create plans for an upcoming trip, and you can even ask questions about a picture that you took. Although there's no specific mention of being limited to certain brands of devices, there does seem to be some gate-keeping afoot or perhaps just a slow rollout amid relaxed requirements.
