Hyundai Built a Robot to Plug in Your Electric Car for You, In Case That's Too Hard


Don’t worry, the robot arm will utilize deep learning to find your car’s charging port.

Hyundai Motor Group recently partnered with South Korea’s Incheon International Airport to commercialize its robot EV charger. The copy states that the ACR “relives inconvenience caused and anxieties about high arising from heavy connectors of existing EVs,” a sentence that sounds like it was dreamed up by a faulty AI program. He was previously a contributing writer for Motor1 following internships at Circuit Of The Americas F1 Track and Speed City, an Austin radio broadcaster focused on the world of motor racing.
