I recommend these budget earbuds over pricier Bose and Sony models - here's why

I've always been impressed by Earfun's audio products, and the Clip earbuds continue that tradition, even when the sound profiler doesn't quite get it right. You can grab a pair right now for 41% off.

Earbuds that tend to be hit or miss require an app to tune the sound to the wearer's hearing. Then I remembered that the app includes a custom profile feature, which (in theory) tunes the sound perfectly to your hearing. I'm not saying that the EQ elevated the EarFun Clip earbuds to audiophile-quality sound, but it certainly brought them up to a level slightly above their price point (currently$53 on Amazon).
