I tried 11 new VR games from Gamescom. Here are my favorites

Gamescom 2024 has a huge VR presence, giving us a look at plenty of new upcoming Meta Quest games.

In his weekly column, Android Central Senior Content Producer Nick Sutrich delves into all things VR, from new hardware to new games, upcoming technologies, and so much more. The trick here is that the entire world is designed to fit around the edges of a giant vertical rabbit hole, so you'll start at the bottom and slowly make your way to the top as you progress through the story. Parkour and climbing aren't free-roaming as it was in Assassin's Creed Nexus — these levels are more linear in the style of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time — but there are plenty of similarities to basic mechanics between the games.
