Regardless of the nature of the question, they address the issues at hand in the same highly methodical manner, first developing a systematic framework, then balancing competing considerations against each other to arrive at an overall judgment. A person who has not absorbed, and genuinely internalized, a fair bit of ethical insight by the time they find themselves in such situations is highly unlikely to respond well, or even minimally adequately.
