iFixit’s PS5 Pro teardown reveals an easily replaceable CMOS battery
While the previous PS5 models made it difficult to get to the CMOS battery, iFixit found there's little standing in the way of it beneath the panels of the PS5 Pro.
Whereas accessing this battery to replace it in the two previous PS5 models required a fair amount of work due to its placement beneath the main board, iFixit found that it’s right under the faceplates in the PS5 Pro and nestled behind a hatch that has just one screw. Reporters Without Borders said it’s pressing charges against X for its role in a Kremlin-backed disinformation campaign spreading fake news about Ukraine. The Onion said on Thursday that its parent company acquired Infowars, the disgraced purveyor of Sandy Hook misinformation and pseudoscience supplements.
