Instagram announced a timely update to its video feature Reels this morning, alongside the news that the Supreme Court upheld the law that will ban TikTok in the U.S. on January 19. The company is poised to capture a number of TikTok users in the wake of the U.S. ban, particularly creators who rely on social media for income. Meta, angling to capture TikTok users’ attention on Friday, announced that it’s adding a feature that appears on the top-right corner of the Reels tab, making it easier to see the content that friends and followers have liked or commented on.
