A number of Phoronix readers have been inquiring in recent weeks around seeing updated Linux graphics/gaming benchmarks for the Intel Arc B-Series "Battlemage" graphics cards. Since the Intel Arc B580 launch in December and the Arc B570 graphics cards in January, the Intel Battlemage Linux graphics driver support has continued to mature quite a lot with new performance optimizations and various features as covered in a number of Phoronix articles over the past several months. With the likes of Ubuntu 25.04 and Fedora Workstation 42 it also means now having a very pleasant out-of-the-box experience for the Intel Arc B-Series graphics without having to worry about any updated Linux kernel, firmware, or Mesa bits as well.
