Intel Mesa Drivers Now Properly Report Battlemage BMG-G31 GPUs

Posted by Intel engineers a few days ago were a Mesa patch to begin recognizing some Intel Battlemage graphics cards as being the larger 'BMG G31' variant

This evening those patches were merged for Mesa 25.2 for what's rumored to be potentially the Arc B770 graphics cards to launch later in the year. While there were news reports from Windows-oriented websites a few days ago claiming the patches were merged or similar, only a short time ago was the patch in question actually merged for reporting four BMG PCI IDs as being BMG G31 variants. In any event good seeing the open-source Linux driver support already squared away ahead of Intel introducing their next products in the Battlemage family.
