Apple has a new battery feature coming in iOS 19 that’s something I’ve always wanted on my iPhone. Here’s what’s coming.
iOS 19 will be unveiled in less than two weeks, and there’s one rumored feature that could prove the sleeper hit of the release: a new battery charging indicator on the Lock Screen. The iPhone and iOS are nearly two decades old, so while Apple can always find new features and improvements to add, the low-hanging fruit is scarce. I’d guess this will be a Live Activity, but perhaps Apple will make it a Lock Screen widget, or some other unique UI element.
