iOS 26 adds the fix I’ve always wanted for accessing credit cards

iOS 26 has a welcome fix for the problem of needing to manually enter credit card info on websites and forms, here’s what’s new.

But Apple has long had a separate system, built into Safari, that saves full credit card info. In any case, I regularly encounter situations where I need credit card details for a website or online form, and I have to manually find and add them. No matter what app you’re using, regardless of whatever field type you’re trying to fill out, you can find all of those saved Safari credit cards via the systemwide AutoFill menu.
