iPhone budgeting apps can now automatically import your Apple Card and Cash transactions

No more manual imports.

With the update, third-party budgeting apps can automatically import information from Apple’s financial services via the iPhone maker’s FinanceKit API. YNAB’s post also mentions that the feature is exclusively available in the US, given that’s the only country where Apple offers its Card, Cash, and Savings account. Of course, the update is also notable for rolling out Apple’s compliance with the EU’s Digital Markets Act, including support for third-party app stores.
