Jaguar’s Controversial EV Relaunch Has Leaked Online
Ahead of the official reveal at Miami Art Week, snaps of the brand's Design Vision Concept have surfaced in all their polarizing pink power.
Images posted to the online forum Coche Spias offer an advance look at the electric GT car, which, judging by the proportions in these pictures, appears to be both large and wide, even for a vehicle in the class. The cab-rear stance with long bonnet shuns the design language of many electric cars, where the EV power architecture means that there is no longer need to provide space up front for a large internal combustion engine. In advance of the reveal, Jaguar has made much of the company's ambition for its cars to be “a copy of nothing”, and a great deal of what we see here, with invisible A-pillars, a squared front end and rounded rear seems to make good on that promise.
