In a previous career, I served as director of a professional association, called the Administrative Management Society, which produced events, publications, and research for its 12,000 members across North America. The organization has close to 34,000 members across 240 local chapters, and hosts a range of in-person and online events and workshops, as well as a certification program. The organization boasts an impressive network of local and regional affiliates spanning the globe, as well as special interest groups (SIGs).
