Jordan Weisman launches Kickstarter to fund Sea of Legends development
Veteran developer Jordan Weisman announced a Kickstarter for his newest game: Pirate-themed fantasy CRPG Sea of Legends.
Sea of Legends features card-based gameplay, with characters building up decks of actions for situations such as boarding, tavern brawls and ship-to-ship combat. Players can align themselves with multiple factions — including spooky, supernatural beings — while partaking of piratey activities such as plundering and smuggling. Other major Kickstarter-funded games include the Divinity: Original Sin titles from Larian Studios, Shenmue III from Ys Net, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night by Castlevania’s Koji Igarashi and Frontier Development’s Elite Dangerous.
