Keyboards big and small: three enthusiast options reviewed in spring 2024

What cool keyboards have been released over the past few months? Reece Bithrey rounds up some of his favourites from across the crazy world of keyboards.

Here are three reviews then: the low-profile Mistel AirOne, the rapid trigger Meletrix BOOG75 and the custom-built Keychron Q1 Pro with MX Purple switches designed by Cherry and British keyboard maker Glarses. Elsewhere, the AirOne features full RGB backlighting, which at first can be a little offputting due to its constant colour changing, although there are several different presets available if you want something a little less in your face. The BOOG75 retains Meletrix's reputation for offering incredible buid quality with one of the thickest and heaviest machined aluminium cases I've experienced on a keyboard, full stop.
