Kia Issues 'Park Outside' Recall for 2020-2024 Telluride Vehicles for Fire Risk

Safety recall for certain 2020-2024 Telluride vehicles because front power seat motor could overheat, potentially resulting in a fire.

Owners can expect to be notified by mail starting July 30 and can contact Kia customer service at 800-333-4542. NHTSA also encourages everyone to download its SaferCar app to stay informed on current recalls. If you think your vehicle may have a safety defect that isn’t part of a current recall, contact NHTSA online or by calling the agency’s Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern time.
