Active Canvas lets you finally write directly onto your Kindle books The new AI-generated summary and handwriting conversion features are useful Spacious and sharp E Ink display It’s still not easy to annotate ebook pages Note-taking capabilities are still lackluster compared to competitors’ Overpriced given the main changes are software updates also available on the last-gen model The Kobo Elipsa 2E’s note-taking tools aren’t as advanced as the Boox and it can’t summarize notes like the Scribe, but it at least lets you quickly convert handwriting into typed text in the original notebook document.
