Linux Foundation Forms The Developer Relations Foundation, DocumentDB Joins The LF
The Linux Foundation used Open-Source Summit Europe 2025 happening in Amsterdam to announce the formation of the Developer Relations Foundation 'DRF'
Those wanting to learn more about the new Developer Relations Foundation can do so via the press release. Earlier this year Microsoft announced the open-source DocumentDB NoSQL database. By becoming part of the Linux Foundation they hope for vendor neutrality and to foster the growth of this MIT-licensed Microsoft-started database project.
