Other menus are more fun to interact with, like the Game Boy-esque Byte Seyes system, the pixelated inventory screen, or DOS-like computers that act as save points and more, all adding a notable 'gamey' element to this abstract exploration. The art of cinema appears to be a key element at least, from the chiaroscuro of its visuals and off-kilter framing, to the Signorina herself who struts through the hallways like an Italian model Audrey Hepburn lookalike stuck in a Federico Fellini film.
