Like the M4 iMac, both the M4 and the M4 Pro configurations of Mac mini also start at 16 GB RAM as the new baseline. The M4 Pro chip offers up to 273 GB/s of memory bandwidth across the system-on-a-chip, with a maximum of 64 GB RAM. This is an 80% increase in bandwidth compared to the ‘measly’ 150 GB/s speed of M3 Pro, and is close to the 300 GB/s benchmark set by the lower-end M3 Max.
