Man uses AirTag to track down stolen luggage, finds person wearing his clothes


AirTags saved the day, and this man's luggage.

Apple AirTags were launched in 2021 as a coin-sized GPS gadget that could attach as a keychain or inside your wallet to help the forgetful relocate their stuff. Since last year, more than a dozen airlines have started allowing flyers to submit their AirTag data to track missing luggage in hopes of reuniting it with their owners quicker. Before getting her master's degree at Columbia Journalism School, she spent several years working with startups and social impact businesses for Unreasonable Group and B Lab.
