Mark Zuckerberg Warns Employees ‘Buckle Up,’ Complains About Leaks in Audio That Was Promptly Leaked

According to The Verge, Meta has since vowed to fire whoever leaked the recording

In a follow-up memo, obtained by The Verge, the company’s chief information security officer Guy Rosen effectively said whoever leaked the audio will be fired. “We now have a US administration that is proud of our leading companies, prioritizes American technology winning, and that will defend our values and interests abroad,” he said during Meta’s Q4 earnings call. The statement came minutes after it was reported that the company will pay Trump $25 million to settle a lawsuit related to the president’s prior ban from the platform.
