Mesa 25.2-rc3 Released With RADV Vulkan Video Fixes, NVK Conformance Update


The third weekly release candidate of Mesa 25.2 is now available for testing ahead of its planned stable release in August.

We're working toward the Mesa 25.2 stable release in the coming weeks with its many new features in tow. As of writing there are just three open blocker bugs for the Mesa 25.2 release: two macOS issues have been reported and then the third is just ensuring good NVIDIA Blackwell support in the NVK driver. Some of the Mesa 25.2-rc3 changes include: - A number of RADV Vulkan Video fixes such as around AV1 encode and VP9 decode.
