Meta reportedly inks major $10 billion deal with Google for Cloud services

The company is seemingly making moves to solidify its place within the world of AI.

It's likely Meta's interest in Google's wide-arching cloud services is to build a more solid base as it pushes ahead with more prominent ambitions in AI. The earnings report late in July highlighted Meta's soaring 22% increase in revenue, year-over-year (YoY), to $47.52 billion. So far, Meta has spent roughly $17.01 billion in building new AI infrastructure, such as data centers and funding for advanced research.
