With the Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization updates for the Linux 6.15 kernel there are two new features worth mentioning. Yes, until now it wasn't possible to offline CPU cores under Hyper-V but now that ability is wired up. Offlining of CPU cores was previously not possible due to VMBUS channels attached to them while now the Hyper-V driver properly deals with the situation if wanting to take any CPU cores offline.
