Microsoft confirms Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will debut day one on Xbox Game Pass

Microsoft confirmed today that the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will debut on day one Xbox Game Pass when the title debuts this fall.

It features Gulf War leaders such as Saddam Hussein, Bill Clinton, Margaret Thatcher, George H. W. Bush and Colin Powell. It remains to be seen if Microsoft will create a new tier in Xbox Game Pass that would include the new Call of Duty title, as this might be considered a premium offering of some kind. Microsoft has to tread carefully here, as it already saw the need to shave 1,900 jobs from the Activision Blizzard acquisition and shutter a few studios as well.
