Microsoft Edge will let you control how much RAM it uses soon


Early Canary versions of Edge have a new RAM slider.

By Tom Warren, a senior editor covering Microsoft, PC gaming, console, and tech. The RAM slider is also available in the browser essentials section, which includes the power efficiency mode for Edge. Microsoft introduced the power / performance mode for Edge years ago to improve the RAM, CPU, and battery usage of the browser.
