Microsoft Flight Simulator releases classic WW2 aircraft to commemorate the D-Day landings with proceeds all going to charity


Remembering the historic D-Day landings, 80 years on. Commemorative events and now Microsoft Flight Simulator honor the bravery of all.

80 years ago today the historic D-Day landings took place as the Allies invaded the European mainland and suffered a huge loss of life as the attempt to wrestle the continent from the grip of Hitler’s tyranny began. Many commemorative events have been taking place over the past couple of days including ceremonies and reunions of the remaining soldiers, airmen, and seamen who took part in the mission. Having spent time as Head of Communications at a professional sports club and working for high-profile charities such as the National Literacy Trust, he returned as Managing Editor in charge of large US-based technology websites in 2020.
