Microsoft's Azure Linux Preps For NVIDIA GB200 Servers

Microsoft on Tuesday released a new version of Azure Linux, their in-house Linux distribution that is used for a variety of purposes from the Azure cloud to powering other Microsoft services.

Azure Linux 3.0.20250521 brings a number of fixes and as usual a wide variety of package updates to address different security issues. In addition a number of packages like Lua, Python, Perl, Golang, and others have also seen some minor software updates. Catching my eye among the mostly small maintenance items are a number of kernel configuration updates for Azure Linux 3.0 on AArch64 in catering to NVIDIA GB200 and GB200F servers.
