Microsoft's big AI update for Windows 11 is here - what's new

Though many of the new features are designed for Copilot+ PCs, there's much here for standard Windows 11 computers.

Launched on Tuesday specifically for Windows 11 24H2, the optional update known as KB5062660 carries with it a cavalcade of AI-powered skills along with general enhancements and bug fixes galore. In Paint, you're now able to use AI to create special stickers based on your text prompts and select specific elements in an image to make targeted changes. Upon any type of critical boot-up failure, your PC will enter recovery mode, connect to your network, and then send diagnostic data to Microsoft.
