Microsoft’s prototype Surface Laptop leaks with Intel’s Lunar Lake chips inside
This Intel-based Surface Laptop is reportedly arriving in 2025.
A Surface Laptop prototype has appeared in a since-deleted listing on Chinese second-hand marketplace Goofish, complete with what looks like Intel’s Core Ultra 7 268V processor inside. While it’s easy to fake the CPU listing inside Windows, the appearance of the prototype label confirms this is likely a genuine unreleased laptop from Microsoft. If Microsoft is considering Lunar Lake chips for its Surface Laptop line, it would ensure there’s an Intel option for those who want Copilot Plus PC features.
