Misinformation on Climate and Meat Pushed by Russian-Backed Influencers in U.S.


One right wing influencer pushes meat and misinformation.

Some examples include mocking prominent climate activists, such as Greta Thunberg, as well as standing up against “disruptive” lifestyle changes, like replacing gas stoves with electric models, and eating less meat. Eating a more plant-forward, less meat-heavy diet is one of the most effective forms of individual climate action, according to Project Drawdown, a non-profit aiming to help the world reduce carbon emissions.
