Mobile game maker Jam City lays off 10% of staff

Jam City, the mobile game maker of titles like Cookie Jam, said it has laid off about 10% of its staff in a restructuring of its 850-person workforce.

“We made the very difficult decision to implement an organizational restructuring that includes reducing our workforce,” said the company in a statement. These changes allow us to streamline our operations and focus our resources on the long-term sustainability and future success of the company.” GamesBeat is excited to partner with Lil Snack to have customized games just for our audience!
