Moment’s SuperCage smartphone rig has more ports and more power for filmmakers

Lights, camera, action!

Smartphone cages for mobile filmmakers aren’t a new idea — even Moment sells a cheaper alternative — but the SuperCage is its first one integrating a USB-C hub so that there’s one less accessory needed. The company has made a name for itself with accessories like lenses and MagSafe tripod mounts that make it easier to film and shoot with a smartphone. The SuperCage uses an expanding clamp to securely hold a smartphone inside an aluminum ring that can be upgraded with handles and mounts for attaching other filmmaking gear.
