The Hunters rescue a young boy, Nata, whose village was destroyed by the Wraith, and they form a research commission to investigate this supposedly extinct species. Monster Hunter remains one of Capcom’s biggest franchises, with cumulative sales of over 100 million units worldwide according to the company’s most recent quarterly financial report.
